Dragon was established in 1972. Initially, the company manufactured suede products. In 1980, a decision was made to change the company profile and to build the Chemical Production Plant in Szczyglice, Poland. Construction was completed in 3 years. From this point on, suede manufacture was gradually displaced by the production of construction chemicals, at first mainly adhesives and diluents.
The origin of the name “Dragon” dates back to early 1990, when the Management Board of the Chemical Production Plant held a competition for the company’s name and logo. Since the mid ’90s, Dragon has gradually expanded its markets in Poland, Russia and Ukraine. Since the beginning of its operation, the Chemical Production Plant has continuously expanded its range with the introduction of new products.
In 1997, alongside its existing traditional sales channel, Dragon entered into cooperation with DIY hypermarket chains. The decision to develop sales through this modern distribution channel brought further dynamic development, particularly of the trade, logistics and sales divisions of our company.
In 2000, the company headquarters were moved to a new, modern office and warehouse building equipped with full logistics facilities. This investment enabled us to improve the level of customer service for our increasing number of clients, and to provide quick and efficient deliveries directly to customers.
Since 2003, we have been gradually replacing our machines, a process which continues to this day. The result of this process is a continual reduction in manufacturing costs and greater opportunity to expand our product range.
Currently, Dragon is among the most dynamic companies in the construction, automotive and household chemicals sector in Poland. The company manufactures over 250 different products which come in packaging sizes from 2 ml to 1000 l.
